“Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” |
Hi ! I am Animesh. Welcome to my homepage, an effort to put some information about myself in this electron-like web-space of the vast, expansive internet network. I am a 18 year old boy, currently doing my engineering in the field of biotechnology. Well, being a computer buff, biotechnology wasnt my first choice, and I am yet to find my feet in this field. But now I am looking it as a new opportunity for myself to clear my reservations about the subject and to explore this largely unexplored science. I am a resident of Ghaziabad, a city near Delhi, India. I have been fortunate enough to have immensely caring, encouraging and loving parents. My father, Sh. Anil Ji Garg, is a self-employed person and my mother, Smt. Anuradha Garg, is a homemaker. Besides, I also have a lovely sister, Anukriti, who is currently in Std. VI. I am a simple, dedicated (in most of the cases), hard working(or hardly working), creative, a bit reserved individual who loves new opportunities and challenges.
My Acedemic Background I am currently a first year engineering(biotech) student at JAYPEE Institute of Information Technology - Noida. I did my XII from Amity International School - Noida in the year 2005. Before joining Amity, I studied 4 years at Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital, from where I completed my class X. Oh yes! I managed to get a pretty decent aggregate in my board examinations and hope to carry forward the good work in my college too. My Interests Things related to computers fascinate me the most. I like programming as well as designing, perticularly the use of Macromedia Flash ( though I still have a lot to learn about using it). I am also a die-hard cricket fan , but slowly I am developing my interest for other sports as well. I like to play basketball , badminton ( in addition to cricket, of course). Besides, I also like music, mostly the hindi film scores (I am not much into classical music or english songs), and often play synthesizer in my free time. My Role Models My role models are Albert Einstein, Bill Gates and Rahul Dravid. Though many would attribute my last choice to be purely out of my cricket fascination, but Rahul Dravid is one such individual whom one can always look upto besides his cricketing abilities for his resolution, determination and the fighting spirit. There us no need to elaborate anything about my first two choices.
